It's hard to say what kinds of crafts are modern and which are old, because most of the newfangled kinds of hand-made — well forgotten old or new currents ancient crafts.

Perhaps something from the list below, will interest you, because not all banal love knitting, but ready to do something more exotic. Brief description for those who want to master one or the other type of contemporary needlework.

I chose the most modern types of art and craft which I have not tried yet, but really want to learn.

1. Decoupage

7. Polymer clay
